Aphrodite Short-Term Therapy Program
A journey into sensual pleasure, embodiment, and authentic self-compassion
You’ve been doing your best to hold it all together. You show up, care deeply, and keep going even when you’re running on empty. But lately something feels off. Maybe sex feels like another thing to get right, or you can’t seem to get out of your head. Maybe it’s hard to rest or to receive without guilt. You miss feeling connected to your body, to pleasure, to your partner, to yourself.
There is a part of you that knows that there has to be more to life. That you are meant to feel good in your body, to embrace who your are, and to rest and care for yourself without guilt. This is where the Goddess Aphrodite archetype comes in.
Aphrodite isn’t some faraway goddess. She’s a reflection of what already lives inside you, the part that remembers joy, aliveness, and pleasure. Her myths are her to support you in connecting with your sexuality, passion, and confidence.
This archetypal therapy program is for you if:

In our initial session, we will explore your relationship with the Aphrodite archetype; how you have related to themes of pleasure, sexuality, body image, and jealousy. You will be supported in setting intentions for this program and creating a concrete plan to prioritize your journey during the program and beyond.

Begin the self-paced aspect of your journey with the Aphrodite archetype by learning about her myth, symbols, and how archetypal exploration can support your path of healing, sensuality, and pleasure. You will learn strategies to deepen your relationship with your authentic self, experience more pleasure, and embrace your body. This module includes a video lesson, guided meditation, and journaling questions to support you in awakening your inner Aphrodite.

We will meet individually to deepen your exploration of the Aphrodite archetype. We will integrate your reflections, experiences in meditation, and insights from the course content. You will be supported in deepening your journey and on working towards the intentions that you have set for yourself.

We will continue our journey by exploring Aphrodite’s shadow. Through her myths and experiences, you will be deeply held in self-reflection around your own shadow parts, whether that is jealousy, comparison, body image, disconnected sex, or shame and guilt. You will be supported in developing self-compassion and mindful self-awareness. You will develop strategies to help you meet your true needs from an embodied, mindful, and honored place.

By the fifth week of the Aphrodite program, you will have build several deep practices, reflected on your own shadow aspects of Aphrodite, and connected with your body and sensuality in new ways. Our individual session will provide a space for you to integrate this work and build even more insights and changes into your life and routine so that you can honor your inner Aphrodite archetype with intention and depth.

In module 3, we will integrate the work from the last two modules and delve into Aphrodite’s gifts of pleasure, sensuality, desire, and sexual joy and liberation. We will explore mindful sensuality and sexuality practices to deepen pleasure, release guilt and shame, and experience passion and vitality. You will be supported in connecting with yourself as a lover and embodied goddess, from a place of empowerment and self-knowing.

We will continue to explore sensuality, desire, and sexual authenticity through Aphrodite’s myths and her archetypal experience. You will uncover your unique desires and the ways that you can honor your body, pleasure, and sensuality.

Our final module will be one of deep reflection. You will explore how you want to live a more full, pleasurable life and embody your inner Goddess Aphrodite. We will explore desire through the lens of the Dual Control Model, discuss the difference between spontaneous desire and responsive desire, and explore mindful sensuality and sexuality practices to deepen pleasure, release guilt and shame, and experience passion and vitality. We will discuss concrete practices and skills that you can incorporate into your life, no matter how busy it is. You will be supported in living a more balanced, passionate life through writing exercises and journaling questions.

In our individual session, we will explore your experiences with desire, arousal, and with authentic sexuality. We will review your insights around the dual control model and create a plan to deepen and awaken your inner sensual Aphrodite archetype.

In our final session of the program, you will be able to integrate all of the work that you have done throughout your journey and create a plan that will help you to continue this path after the program ends. You will be able to set clear intentions on how you wan to honor your body, your sensuality and your authentic self in your daily life, in relationships, and in your sex life.
